Revision Rhinoplasty Palo Alto

FaceRevision or Secondary rhinoplasty is undertaken with the hopes of improving either the function or appearance of a nose that has undergone prior surgery or sustained trauma. It is important to understand that rhinoplasty is one of the most challenging procedures in plastic surgery, and that revision rhinoplasty is even more demanding and less forgiving that the first surgery. As such it is important to discuss your goals for surgery honestly and clearly with your surgeon. Secondary rhinoplasty is about achieving improvement but also acknowledging realistic expectations. It is important to feel that you surgeon has a good understanding of your goals otherwise the chances of success can be limited.

Photographs will be taken before surgery. You are welcome to schedule an additional appointment to review computer imaging of potential results and the goals for surgery. These images can help for both of us to find out if our visions for the outcome of your procedure are in sync. It is important to understand that computer morphing of images does not take into account factors such as scar and wound healing. As such, the images do not imply a guarantee or warranty of possible outcomes for your procedure.
